I quote it, I build it, and I answer my phone. No project managers, no subbing out your project to strangers.

I'm the founder of Couper Building Services - a Tauranga-based builder with over 20 years of experience in fit-outs and renovations across the Bay of Plenty.
I started this business because I believe good building work shouldn't be complicated. For me it's about quality workmanship, clear communication, and making the whole process straightforward and cost-effective - so you can actually enjoy watching your home come together.

My Process

1. Initial Chat

A quick call or email correspondence to understand your project needs.

3. Agree scope

We'll discuss any necessary changes to the project brief and deliverables, start date and timeline advised. Once agreed, a 40% deposit is required.

2. Free site visit + quote

I'll visit your property to check out the space, understand your needs, and will follow up with an emailed quote for the project within a week.

4. Build

I will project manage all necessary trades + complete the build. Final payment due within 5 business days of project completion.

We got him in to change out all the cladding on the outside of the house and restore to original weatherboards, in the process we changed our minds regarding joinery a few times and he was always so accommodating and worked with us to figure out the best look.
